Hi Scott
We certainly have stream gages on the Potomac, but I doubt we have storm surge sensors. I believe those are deployed in advance of a significant storm. But will certainly check.

How can I confirm that and find out where they are?

Hi Glenda, I am doing fine. I am virtually certain that USGS has stream gages on the Potomac; I doubt other agencies do.

Does DOI or NPS have sensors like this on the Potomac River?
Hope all is well.

Hi Scott, I'm acting for Bill today and tomorrow. The link to the USGS stream gages is at
https://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis/rt
If you hover over a state and link then the state map will appear with all the stream gages in the state and then if you hover over one of dots it will show you information on that gage.
Let me know if you need more info.
