This la a request for approval to use Qeon Resins JiOOX65 and 1*00X110 as ingredients In food wrappers, to be used for the packaging of neat or neat products free federally inspected establishments.
Oeon resin 1*00X65 is a txipolymsr aade frpa vinyl chloride, viqylidene chloride, and vinyl aoetate. It differ# from Oeon 202 (approved) only in a variation of the vinyl-vlnylldene chloride ratio and the addition of vinyl aoetate.
Oeon reala 1*00X110 is a tripolymer of vinyl chloride vinyl aoetate, and diethyl mmleate. Xt ie the eame with reepeot to the email-quantity additives, ee Oeon 101XP (approved). It differ# frost this polymer only in that vinylidene chloride, in the polymerisation process, is replaosd with vinyl aostats and dlsthyl molsats.

On the basis of your assurance that Geon Resin 205 is a copolymer of vinyl chloride and vinylidene chloride with no additives, plastic films containing this resin, if otherwise satisfactory, are acceptable for the packaging of product prepared under our supervision*

In accordance with your request of April 10 ve are repeating a statement regarding the acceptability of Geon Resin 500X749 as a component of plastic film used for packaging products prepared under Federal meat inspection because of an error in our letter of April 4.
On the basis of your assurance that Geon Hesln 500X749 is composed of polyvinyl- chloride and Hycar rubber to which has been added approximately l of Santomerse S, plastic film containing the resin, if otherwise satisfactory, is accept able to this Division for packaging meat and meat food product
