(2) To cross-check the data against-source documents, including lists of active employees, layoffs, pensioners, disability retirees, deaths and other appropriate sources. (3) To conduct a tripartite meeting with representatives of labor and management present. This meeting is required by NIOSB regulations and should allow both management and labor to understand the overall purpose and intended scope of the NIOSH study.
