It's been an incredibly busy summer for the Foundation! It turns out that working from home is very productive in fighting for the West.
WCF Rolls out DC --> Digital Connect

WCF has recently rolled out Digital Connect. Our Digital Connect events add a more robust dynamic to our annual programing. The digital programming will do more to provide additional policy forums and meetings to our annual agenda of activities. WCF's DCConnect also provides an opportunity for those outside of the DC audience to attend our events. Overall, our new Digital DCConnect will allow greater interaction between Senate and Congressional Western Caucus members, staff, and stakeholders all across the country.
WCF in Montana - Digital Roundtable Announcement
Although we've had to do things a little differently this year, WCF is thrilled to announce that our Annual Summer Policy Roundtable will be held digitally this year. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, August 19th, as we discuss recreational access, forestry management, wildfire and multiple use land policies.

Don't worry, we haven't forgotten about field tours; Field tours will be held virtually this summer and you'll still have the opportunity to ask questions and put your digital boots on the ground all from the comfort of your couch.

Digital Connect: Rural Broadband & Previous Policy Forums
Last Week, WCF held a Digital Connect forum on America's rural broadband issues. Our guest speakers featured Commissioner Brendon Carr from the FCC, Administrator Chad Rupe from Rural Utility Services, USDA and Greg Watson from the Office of Science and Technology Policy at the White House.
We also had external groups on the forum including Vicki Robinson, Senior Director of the Microsoft AirBand Initiative and Stacey Mueller, from Blackfoot Communications (a rural broadband provider and NTCA member).
