Amanda.France@cei.org RE: Speaking Invite - CEI Summit Bar Harbor
Good afternoon, Amanda!
I hope you are having a great week. My apologies for the delayed response here and thank you very much for the invitation for the Secretary to join the Competitive Enterprise Institute Summit.
If you could please have the appropriate member of your team fill out the attached event request form and return it back to (b)(6) - Secretary Wright for our records and consideration, that would be great.
Just as a heads up, we are currently booking the Secretary's schedule about 2 weeks to 1 month out in advance.
Thank you again for the invitation and we look forward to hearing from you.
Izzy

Subject: [EXTERNAL] Speaking Invite - CEI Summit Bar Harbor
Secretary Wright, The Competitive Enterprise Institute would be delighted for you to keynote our annual policy summit in Bar Harbor, Maine this June. Our team is heartened by your nomination and eager to welcome a modern age of affordable energy abundance.
Energy policy has been a priority issue since CEI's founding. As a think tank and NGO, our experts research domestic as well as international policy reforms. We participated in the 1997 Kyoto conference as well as the recent COPs in Scotland and Egypt, from which we published Inside the Carbon Cult. We advocated US withdrawal from the Paris agreement in the first administration and celebrate the renewed effort this term.
Attached is an invitation from CEI President Kent Lassman for you to headline this year's summit at the Harborside Hotel and Bar Harbor Club June 2 -- 5, 2025. If of interest, please let me know if you have any questions that would help with your decision.
Thank you for your consideration,
Amanda France Vice President of Events
