You can request information on pesticide poisoning incidents from The National Pesticide Information Center, a cooperative agreement between EPA and Oregon State University. Response: EPA has never had a public, searchable database o f pesticide incidents. 3. --What would be the estimated turnaround time on the FOIA request for data on incident reports for a pesticide? Response: Federal agencies are required to respond to a FOIA request within twenty working days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays. The twenty-day period does not begin until the request is received by the Agency and identify the records you are seeking and have an agreement to pay fees or a fee waiver has been granted. I'm curious about the decision to convene this panel - is there a particular study or other event that has prompted EPA to take this step? Or is it simply something that happens periodically to review the state of Bt resistance and consider any changes that may be needed to improve pest management and delay resistance?
