I am sorry that we didn't have a pre-meeting phone call at which we all could speak. I am hoping that we can proceed in something like the following fashion. I would like you each to give 5-10 minutes in which to present the most salient issues that you think need to be addressed in terms of science policies for implementing the LCSA. I will then moderate the discussion. I think we can recognize that there are disagreements among us about the path forward and at the same time that there is a considerable amount of respect for each of our individual viewpoints. In other words, I think you should feel free to respectfully disagree amongst yourselves when we move into the discussion. It will be much more interesting for the audience and will (hopefully) help elevate the discussion so that those in the audience here at GW and online can more fully appreciate the relevance of the issues that you are raising. I do not plan to preprogram the panel with questions but instead will guide the discussion into points that each of you are making.. 1. Goldman: Introduce the panel and the issues and moderate the discussion. 2. Beck: Trump administration viewpoint on the significant science policy issues, directions that are being taken and how the administration is obtaining science input to these decisions. 3. Patterson: Views from the standpoint of the risk analysis community. 4. Diderich: Views from the standpoint of the OECD and efforts to globally harmonize science evaluations of chemicals, share scientific data and resources and build capacity for science assessment globally. Sierra Club v. EPA 18cv3472 NDCA Tier 12 ED 002061 00043660-00001 5. Denison: Environmental NGO viewpoint on significant science policy issues and relevance to environmental and public health goals of LCSA. 6. Panel Discussion and (if relevant) responses to written questions from the audience.
