INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE Joined American Cyanamid Company in June 1948 as a Staff Physician in the Headquarters clinic and became Director of the clinic in September of 1950. In 1955, was appointed Assistant Medical Director. In that capacity had responsibility for implementation of Cyanamid's Employee Health Program on a corporate basis. In October cf 1958, was appointed Director of Employee Health, in which position also assumed responsibility for the Corporate Industrial Hygiene Program, In September of 1967, was appointed Corporate Medical Director of American Cyanamid Company with responsibility for the Company's programs in Employee Health, Industrial Hygiene, Toxicology, Safety and Loss Prevention. In 1979, with the establishment of the Environmental Services Division, continued as Corporate Medical Director with responsibility for Cyanamid's Employee Health Program. This program involved 15 full-time physicians, 16 part-time physicians and approximately 135 fee-for-service physicians; approximately 50 nurses and 3 technicians in the United States and Canada. Served as Medical Consultant to the Corporate Insurance Department including Personal Protection Programs as well as Workmen's compensation. Similarly, had responsibility for Total and Permanent Disability benefits under the Company's pension plan. Member of Cyanamid's Occupational Health and Label Committees.
