GENERAL
The purpose of the tests was to determine the TWA's for persons working in the VCM Complex. In addition, numbers and locations of excursions for the regulated area were taken by scanning the area monitoring GC charts.
CONCLUSIONS
A. Personnel Monitoring
1. Twenty employees were monitored in December.

2. All employees tested in December were below the 0.5 ppm action level. See attached data.
B. VCM Area Monitoring
1. The VCI area monitors consist of two Bendix gas chromatographs having ten sample points throughout the VCI Complex.
2. The chromatograph charts were scanned for excursions of VCI:
a) Over 5 ppm extending over a 15-minute period. , b) Over 1 ppm extending over an 8-hour period. . c) See data attached.
3. "A" monitor was inoperable for 16 days of December.
