Wanda and I truly appreciate the hospitality and look forward seeing you again soon. Please tell the Administrator that I am sorry the Rose Bowl didn't go as I know he would have liked but it was a great win for the Bulldogs. Wanda and I had the pleasure of being in Pasadena to witness a great game between two great teams. Wow, too bad somebody had to loose. Maybe one of our teams will have the opportunity to knock off the Tide next year. Sierra Club v. When we met with Administrator Pruitt last April and again last July he committed to fix the EPA policy that fails to treat forest biomass energy as "carbon neutral." Fixing that policy is critical, because the EPA and other federal agencies need to clearly recognize that we maintain a carbon balance in our forests by growing more wood than we harvest. We have heard that EPA is still working on the policy fix but there have been delays. A lot of people here in Georgia and in other heavily forested states are eager for EPA to finalize that policy. Could you let the folks who are working on it know how much we appreciate their work and that we are looking forward to thanking Administrator Pruitt for his help? Also, could you find out the status of the policy and let us know? In addition, Wanda and I will be in D.C. Feb. 5th and 6th for the Forest Landowners Association board meeting and would certainly make ourselves available to discuss the forest biomass energy designation as "carbon neutral" along with any other important policy developments. Again, we thank you for all your efforts to keep our forests working for everyone. Earl D. Barrs Due South investments, LLC 201 Second St., Ste. 1200 Macon, Georgia 31201 Ex. 6 ]Cell Sierra Club v.
