As regards the office, we do not consider the spinife ccoL rcnm is ideal, and would prefer that the office consist
' * t:v;c rooms each 15' x 12*-6" with a 8'-0n wide verandah all r'und, and with provision made for installing a Carrier airconditioning unit in the office.
If temporary office premises are required urgently at the site, we suggest this could be built further from the mill than the aotual offloe site, and this could later be used as a
garage for the motor vehicles.
MILL FLOW SHEET. We are satisfied with the mill flow aheet shown by plan B.M.D.10,001 up to the point of entry to tl -rader screen, but before any plant is ordered for the section from the screens onwards, we wish to. give the arrangement fur ther consideration.
PLANT. We are agreeable to Mr. Broadhurst purchasing the plant he lists as being available from the Whimwell copper mine, and we are also Sgreeable to the purchase of the Ford tipping truck for 755. as regards the Jacques 24" x 14" Roll Jaw Crusher, we do not wish this to be ordered immediately, as wo wish to enquire from the Direotorate of Mechanical Equipment
in Melbourne, whether a suitable second-hand unit can be ob
tained.
In our telegram to The Colonial Sugar Refining Co. Ltd., Perth, on the 20th instant, we asked that Mr. Broadhurst should forward particulars or any plant which he requires and which he does not believe will be available in Western Austral: The reason for this was so that enquiries oould be made in Melbourne rorhim immediately with a view to locating such
equipment.
PURCHASING MATERIAL. For the present at least it is
proposed that all plant that can be considered removable as a
unit should be nurohased by The Colonial Sugar Refining Co. Lb
who will hire, or later sell, suoh plant to our Company. The
necessary arrangements with The Colonial Sugar Refining Co. Lt-
will be made here.

We will leave it to Ur. Broadhurst to order all the material he can either on these orders or on The Colonial Sugar
Refining Co. Ltd... orders, and we will only order such plant as Ur. Broadhurst requests us to do from time to time because he carnot locate it himself.
JOB-NUMBERS. It will be necessary to apportion all expenditure to the appropriate buildings or plant so that cn the- corapletion`*of the mill, we can compile a complete schedule / of assets. Tor this purpose we are enclosing two copies of a lint cf job numbers so that all expenditure can be allocated to the correct item3 from the commencement cf the project. Mr.
3rcadhurst may wish to add numbers from time to time as new itarns occur, and he is at liberty to do this provided we are
informed of such additions.

Plans for the erection of a modern factory at Wittenoom Gorge for the processing of the raw material are already under way, and the manning of this factory, together with the labour required for mining operations and transport, together with the indirect labour requirements, will, after the wari assist materially in providing employment.
The output of asbestos will be marketed through the Building Materials Bivision of The colonial Sugar Refining Co. Ltd., which has a substantial interest in the new Company."
