On behalf of the American Forest & Paper Association, I am writing first to express my appreciation to you for taking the time to talk with our members last Friday about the Smart Sectors program and the importance of our environmental stewardship in partnership with EPA. We appreciate your leadership on many challenges facing our industry, including resolving the regulatory uncertainty around biomass, streamlining the air and water permit processes, and ensuring that regulations do more good than harm.
I also want to take the opportunity to invite you to speak with AF&PA's Board of Directors at its upcoming meeting on Thursday, June 18. Our CEOs and senior executives will be available to talk with you remotely on June 18 between 8am-10am Eastern Time.
