Hello Kristin -
Just circling back here.....

John Ketchum, Chairman and CEO of NextEra, will be in DC on 3/5 and 3/6 and I wanted to re-up the request for a meeting with the Secretary. If able to accommodate on the 5th, he will be joined by the Chairman and CEO of GE Vernova, Scott Strazik, with whom we have recently announced a large new joint venture in the energy sector. If the 5th does not work, John is available to meet on the 6th, preferably in the afternoon, but we can be flexible as needed. Is there a window on one of those days that might work? Hi Kristin!
Thanks for the note and for getting back to me. I totally understand and congrats on your new role. I had the same job as you working for a cabinet Secretary in 2001 and remember the early days! They are crazy!
If possible, I would love to find a time in the next few weeks to connect Secretary Burgum with John if possible, as he is eager to connect and share our views on the energy sector. He'd be happy to come to DC or find a time on the phone.
Appreciate the consideration and thank you for working on the request.
Phil

Hello Phil, I hope this finds you well. I just received your scheduling request for a meeting with John Ketchum and Secretary Burgum, and I apologize for the late response. As the Secretary's first day in office was yesterday (& my first day as well), we are trying to get a process in place. Unfortunately, I cannot make tomorrow work for a meeting, but next time Mr. Ketchum is in DC please reach out and we can work to arrange something. Please feel free to contact me via email or cell. Hello Kristin - Just circling back here..... Got it. Thanks Kristin.
John is at CERA week on Monday 3-10 and we could work something there. We have a boardroom and areas for meeting.
What times would work for you alll? We will be flex for your schedule.
Will the Secretary still be speaking to EEI on Thursday?

The White House has asked us to travel on Thursday, so unfortunately, we are going to need to cancel. However, we will be at CERAWeek Monday-Wednesday, so I hope we will be able to arrange something for that!
Again, apologies for the late notice and hope to see you at CERA
