The National Mining Association (NMA) cordially invites you to address the spring board of directors meeting scheduled for March 25-26 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Washington D.C. NMA's board of directors is comprised of the chief executives from the major producers of U.S. coal, metals and minerals, as well as manufacturers of mining equipment and technology.
Our membership is extremely appreciative of the initiatives you have led to unravel the unwise and often unlawful policies of the past administration and to decrease regulatory burdens on the mining industry. With less than a year left in the first term of the current administration, NMA's members are keenly interested in learning more about the Department of the Interior's priorities for the remainder of 2020 that relate to mining, including any actions to implement Executive Order 13817, "A Federal Strategy to Ensure Secure and Reliable Supplies of Critical Minerals".
We thank you in advance for your consideration of our request and hope your schedule will permit you to give remarks on Wednesday, March 25 during the morning breakfast, General Session or the luncheon. If Wednesday is not available, an alternative would be to address the NMA directors during a breakfast Thursday morning, March 26.
